I am always grateful for what I have, and I know I have a lot more than many people

Therefore, I am always open to do any charity
Most of my friends, I realized, often turn away anyone who come seeking for a little donation
I am just of the opinion that, donating RM 1 to RM 10(sometimes) does not really burn a hole in my wallet, and often time I will get a pack of tissue in return(or ntg in return, not the point), so why not ?
I always heard people say that whatever I donated will be contributing to a big scamming organization
But I will take the bet that on some off chance the person who come asking for donation is really someone in dire need of help rather than a swindler
I always always always wonder, some people don't bat an eye when they go McD buy an ice cream, but they turn their head away from those who come seeking for a little no-string-attached kind of help
The world is big and some people are unfortunate, we are not able to get them out of whatever situation they are in, but we can always be generous with some coins
Just skip a dessert, you then have the money to donate a bit
When I was in University, I started donating regularly to an animal shelter that I follow on Facebook
I really admire their "No Kill" policy, which at the same time burden them with mountain heavy debt
I made RM 50 donation per month, and also bought their 2018 calendar which is freaking cute.
It is around RM 1.7 per day, many a little makes a mickle yo
Why animal shelter ?
Because firstly I love animals, it always pain me to see strays
Secondly, I always have the perspective that human are evil and self-fish in nature, the older I get, the more people come into contact with me, the more I think that way
I don't mean everyone is bad, I mean that a freaking good person is actually a bad person who doesn't have the resources to be bad, so he abide to unspoken social rule and etiquette
I have stopped donating because I am not working at the moment
I will start donating again around the 2nd month of working I guess :)
