Watching movies, one of my favorite pastime

I actually plan to do this more consistently, blogging I mean

Anyway there were maybe a few things in my mind I want to talk about, like maybe tell my time as a teacher in Kuan Inn Teng, some of my previous dates with girls I like ( like super long time ago )

But since I do not have the time to dig up the photos, I will just talk about one of my favorite pastime

That will be watching movies

I go to cinema alone, and to emphasize it, I love going to cinema alone, and with friends of course

If I were to watch a few movies in a day, then I usually prefer to go by myself, since hardly anyone is willing to do that

As someone who has watch a lot of movies, I sort of develop the uncontrollable urge of analyzing and predicting a movie as I watch it, so there are rarely any movies that can surprise me in anyway

Of course, I still enjoy some well made movies that just want you to have a blast, for instances the Marvel franchise, fast and furious franchise, John Wick, etc.

But having experience so many movies, I learn to truly appreciate when any movie that is so so so original that I can't at all predict where it is going

Also, I learn to appreciate the acting of the actors in the movie, which make certain scenes that may sound mundane on paper turn out mesmerizing

For example

Leonardo Dicaprio and Matthew McConaughey lunch scene in "The Wolf of Wallstreet"

The camping scene in "Bone Tomahawk"

Samuel L Jackson solo in "The Hateful Eight"

and the list goes on, Love Them !

The reason that I am writing this topic is because I was yumcha ing with a few friends, and we were talking about movies, many are of the opinions that if a movie is not in English, and not a high budget lots of special effect kind of movie, then it is not deemed as cinema going worthy 

I understand, they don't do the things I do, they don't go to the cinema so many times that they get bored of super effect filled movies

But seriously

when I heard that someone who has not watch "Inception", "The Dark Knight" trilogy, and so forth, is excited to watch "Geostorm", man I can't help but  want to yell into their ears "Check those freaking masterpieces out !!"

So I implore some of you, if you know about a movie that you may not be interested, go check the review, if it is good, give it a chance :)

Personally any movie rated 8.0+ in IMDB is a sure bet, any above 7.0+ may still be underrated 

I will finish this blog by telling you a few great movies that i watch recently

"Brawl in cell block 99", "Nightcrawler", "Bone Tomahawk", and "Donnia Darko"(This one is not that great for me, it is indeed original and you have to do some afterviewing research in order to appreciate it)

So as always, we are but human being composed of a definite number of atoms that walk on this earth for a definite number of years

You have the power to make this short journey that is called life however you want it to be

Will it be easy ? Yes for some lucky genetic lottery winner, hell no sir for some

But is it within your power to do so ? Yes my friend, your daily actions determine your long term achievement
