To be honest, I totally screwed up my portfolio in 1H2018
Reason being I always chased high and always had the discipline to cut loss, which resulted in a tons of small losses
To make it worse, my position sizing has been so bad because I always loaded up stocks in full size
This is a total disregard of risk management
And also now is not the kind of market to make momentum play, it has been so volatile that it always hit my stop loss before rebounding upward
So there are plenty to improve in 2H2018
I was vastly discouraged and despondent in the face of my negative portfolio despite my hardwork in stock screening and report reading.
However, I almost finish reading the book "A Good Trade", which offers a lot of advices to developing traders
One of the most profound one being :
"When you begin as a trader, your work output must be 10x to make x"
It is a path I have chosen, so at least have the decency to tough it out
After recharging in June after passing my module 6 and module 7 tests, and also a week of rest after my Melacca trip as I enjoyed life
I am now ready to slowly gain momentum in improving my trading and also some self development
Today is the first day of work, I have done reading newspaper, reading book, reading research report, watch a video on mental arithmetic, done 10 minute meditation, done legs and abs workout, done 1 hour easy cardio, and also going to screen through charts after writing this post.
Writing a post is not in my today schedule initially.
But I sorta acted on impulse, man I gotta be more disciplined.
I just think maybe I should write down my plan for 2H2018, kinda like a resolution haha, plus I get to write a post in English to balance up a little since I tend to write in Chinese of late

So yeah, I may get busy but happy this month
There are some topics that I really want to write about but do not have the mood for it yet
When I was doing my internship, I was always ready to write on Friday, perhaps it was a way for me to unwind after working, and also a channel for me to express myself since I don't post a lot on Facebook and Instagram, and I totally quit Snapchat
I want to write movie reviews on all the Marvel movies and my own Marvel movies ranking
I want to write about all the scenes that make me tears up in One Piece in a special dedicated post OR in "流的不是泪,是感动" series
I want to write about a Tarantino movie that I watched last week, "Inglorious Basterds", because it has been a long while since I watched a movie so fucking GodLike
I want to write about how Sungha Jung's music helped me survive through the darkest days of my life
Fortunately, I have already written the review for Breaking Bad, but I have yet to write about West World
Anyway, Ending this blog with a belated wish to everyone for a better 2H2018
And also again with the quotes to remind myself to not be afraid of overworking
