I may just make this a bit short.
All in all, March has not been too great self development wise.
As usual, I mostly stick to my brocolli + eggs lunch when there is not any special occasion or outing.
There was a week in March when my parents went to Bangkok, that was the week I binged eat like hell while watching the series "Stranger Things"
There was a Friday night I had supper with Jin Ren in Subang
There was a weekend I went for satay and pasar malam with my form 6 friends.
A few days ago I went for buffet dinner in Jogoya with my uni friends.
All in all you can tell I have gotten some fats around my waist la.
I will just simplify it into a few areas
1.) Stock trading
- Much better, as in I broke even rather than kept losing
- All thanks to a change in my strategy, I can finally see some greens in my portfolio
- A hell of bad luck for 2018 first quarter, as mid and small caps fell like meteors
Still waiting for bull to reverse my portfolio :)
2.) Workout
- Skipped a few times, not that good
- Joined BJJ in IRON GRID as preparation for Copa Da Malaysia
3.) Excel VBA
- I was still learning when I was in Allianz
- But I sort off want to just drop it and learn advance technical analysis, I dunno man
Basically when I looked back, March is a freaking chill month
The market was super bad, therefore I had time to hang out with my friends, something I didn't get to do when I had to do chart reading everyday, and fundamental analysis every weekend
I appreciate the time I got to have fun and spend quality night with my friends
I do think pleasure does not lead to happiness, a little of them here and there will do no harm though haha
Now that I have finished my university, I look back and realize I don't really have a lot of great friendships
Most probably I spent too much time caring about the socially left outs or bringing people together, rather than focusing on finding friends that match my personalities
I don't recall many who are personalities wise compatible with me though, I always have to put on some performance when I am with my uni friends (does not mean I didnt have fun, just that I am usually not 100% myself)
