Anyone who befriend me since Uni will likely know that I idolize a retail trader by the name Deric Yee

He is the person who inspired me to trade and pursue financial freedom at a young age

Sometimes he will write some article on his facebook page, be it motivational or finance related

So, do you have passion in what you like? Or do you merely like it (as a hobby perhaps)? If you are still confused, let me help you out a little. Here are several indications that you do not have the passion that you so proudly claim to have:

You are not willing to sacrifice your weekend outings to buy a good guitar (if you like music);

You know nothing about the history of cars (if you like automobile);

You can’t inspire anyone to listen to you when you are talking;

No time/money is your common excuse for not acquiring enough knowledge.;

You do not know the industry language;

You are jealous about your peers’ larger paycheck;

You feel inferior working as a barrister (if you like coffee).
